From: ReloadMan | posted: 26.10.2005 10:01 ok peeps company has gone now and im goin to let all you "BIOS Flashers" (No insult intended) LOL, a clue as to how to do this. In most cases this will work so u can use any board and any hard drive so long as ure pc was bought after jan 04. Get your self a "BIOS String DMI Changer" i aint gonna tell u where from for possible comeback. It dont matter 2 monkeys what the bios string is to anything else but i suggest u follow this very carefuly and cauttiously. i will not be responsible if this messes up. Your current DMI will be somthing like; "ASUS k7DELUXE 2124212-54575" if you were to change this to; "Time Computers ASUS k7DELUXE 2124212-54575" or "Tiny Computers ASUS k7DELUXE 2124212-54575" voila, Reload works! mailto:steel_maximus@hotmail.com |

From: Andy R | posted: 29.10.2005 21:20 Bad news for me to read that the Tiny reload CD only has half the reload image. The problem I have is that my hard disk has a hardware problem so I need to replace it. With Tiny out of business I have to buy a new disk. So how can I get my software up & running on a replacement drive? The old disk's a Seagate 200GB SATA drive, so Norton Ghost won't work (or so I've been told). The TIny reload CD is useless by the look of it, so where do I go next? |

From: jerrytaff | posted: 06.11.2005 16:35 Simplest method is, when you buy yor new HD, to buy an oem version of windows xp with it. Many suppliers (eg www.rlsupplies.co.uk) will sell it for about £60. In my experience the Time machines use standard components and everything will work straight away. If not, an internet trawl for your hardware-specific drivers might be needed. Good luck Jerry |

From: Max | posted: 12.11.2005 11:53 Hi, I bought a Mitac 8889 or a Mediabook 380 Pro as Tiny call it in around May of this year. Anyway I didn't buy a reload disk because I had my own version of XP. Over the last few weeks my system has lost the drivers for the hardware and is becoming unstable. I decided to format the hard drive and put my own version of XP on. However when I put the CD in on startup, it won't boot the disk even though in BIOS it is set to load the CD drive first. I have looked around on the internet and a few people say that you need the reload disk to unlock the hidden partition to format the hard drive. I cannot get hold of a disk now because the company have gone bust. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

From: Satman | posted: 14.11.2005 21:10 Help!!! Due to a BIOS problem, I was forced to reload my Time 7321 laptop, with the 2 reload and a floppy disk supplied when I bought the notebook. The reload went fine with the 1st CD, but refuses to accept the 2nd CD. I now have a notebook that does not do anything. Probably a question for 'Reload Man', but how do I sort this problem out? Any help appreciated |
