From: Jordan | posted: 19.12.2006 06:03 Hi. My cameras doing the same thing, I tried disconnecting the battery and putting it back in and nothing, I also put it in DC mode and it still comes up with the error. And when I try to eject the tape it starts to whir then it just does nothing... Maybe hitting it REALLY hard should fix it... But not likely. Can anyone help with this problem? I have the GR-D250 |

From: sm | posted: 20.12.2006 02:37 I got the error message and also couldn't eject the tape. But after reading the messages on this forum, I tried ejecting the tape while the camera was making the whirl sound and it did eject, and cleared the error message. Thanks for the tip |

From: Colin | posted: 24.12.2006 12:09 I get "Condensation - please wait" message, but despite leaving the camera on a radiator shelf overnightwith the tape door open, I cannot remedy it. The camera wont allow the tape door to click shut unless i hold it in position, then when it lowers the above message reappears. |

From: JOHN | posted: 02.01.2007 07:01 Hi Colin #21 I was in Australia a few years ago and encountered 'condensation' with my camcorder because of the humidity factor. I am wondering if you were using your camcorder in a steamy conditions? Anyway, my JVC sorted itself out once it was out of those conditions and yours will probably do likewise!! |

From: JM | posted: 08.01.2007 01:01 I'm still getting this message.. just picked it up one day and it wouldn't work. I had the condensation issue at one time, but it fixed itself in a normal climate. I just tried ejecting it when it was making the whirring sound, but nothing is working so far.. when exactly are you supposed to open it up? I wait for it to whir, then open it up, but nothing changes. |

From: Martin Pennie | posted: 26.01.2007 00:34 Once you switch the camcorder on, just as the "whir" starts, eject the tape. Almost immediately as the tape starts to eject push the compartment containing the tape closed. Figers crossed X |
