From: Lars | posted: 16.09.2004 10:32 Hi, I am new in this forum and I get a problem with my HD-500 from xclef. After downloading the new firmware from 2004/08/25, the jukebox doesn´t boot anymore. Maybe one of you can help me. I get no response from xclef to my questions. Perhaps one could send me the software and not an upgrade. Thanks a lot in advance. |

From: Kevin | posted: 13.10.2004 14:38 I am curious if you managed to find any solution to this problem as I have encountered the same thing. I talked to the people I purchaced the machine from and they suggested using the previous version of the firmware. Only problem with that is that the previous firmware version is not available on the xclef site. Any ideas would be good. Thanks Kevin |

From: Drew | posted: 07.01.2005 22:27 I too have the same problem. Xclef support (Multichannel Labs) has the worst support I've seen. I emailed 5 times and no response. I contacted the people I bought it from and they also suggested reinstalling the old firmware. Being a paranoid tech guy, I made a backup so I have a copy of the the file that is originally on the HD-500 (yt990715_1097f.bin) but I think you need 2 files to actually do the update. Does anyone have both? (Also I can email anyone the file I have if they need it, though without it's partner it seems useless.) |

From: nick | posted: 22.01.2005 19:56 I have done this & it still does not work. I wonder how many other users have the same problem. I have not been able to use my player since october. This is not good enough, maybe we should form a group & pressure the maker to put things right. |
