Phoned 10 times (from Ireland)to establish where my order was, last call on the 10th.January, 2004. Each time after a long delay,I was told that they would call me back, this never happened. After 31 days contacted my Credit Card company and they retreived my money. Bought a Dell. MicroDirect should be MicroScrew (the customer)? |

From: Grak | posted: 01.06.2004 22:16 Microdirect aint so bad, having regualrly bought from them i can vouch that their stock arrives in better condition than ebuyers and that amtrack are a dam site better than city link although that may be a regional bias on my part! Any city link operatives out there - stop using my packaged cases as footballs. It's not clever,. |

From: Paul | posted: 10.01.2005 10:14 Hi, If you're calling Microdirect about delivery problems or other general Customer services problems use 087044 22 233 otherwise after staying on hold on the other numbers they will just tell you to call his one... Amtrak suck btw. |

From: jean | posted: 23.02.2006 15:25 I bought from micro direct and used their impossibly difficult returns process to return the items which were not as described. They seem to be breaking the law with their returns policies stated on line in their website. i have no idea now whether they will honour a refund of money paid to them- but they have not emailed me back since receiving the items - memory sticks which were not as described- neither incompatible nor 256mb sticks of branded ram. Does anyone have advice as to how to get a refund for missold products by this company? I sincerely wish I had never heard of them, let alone bought anything from them. This has been a costly error, and I would warn anybody contemplating buying from them to not do so. I hope the dept of trading standards can set them right about dealing with distance trading and make them behave reasonably. |

From: paul | posted: 20.05.2006 03:34 Well i have used ebuyer for the last time , CITY LINK are the worst , id take amtrck any day , at least they have a local depot for me not 80 miles round trip - whata joke , they now only dieliver once to home users and thats that , or so city link told me today ....... here is what i said to ebuyter hello I ordered 2 ddr 400 512Mb Dimms from your self , the order arrived and one was the wrong part , so i ordered another and sent the first one back for refund , when the second one arrived it was also the wrong part , so i ordered again and returned the other . I now have 2 DDr 400 dimms , however these are going in one computer , and are different makes , this system they go in demands that for ddr ram to run in dual mode they both need to be same configuration , which i have noticed these are not , is it possible for u to send me 2 x ddr 400 and then i can return these 2 for refund. How hard is it 2 send 2 ddr 400 dimms with the same part number Please pass this info on to your customer services manager , so that they can see the kind of mistakes ebuyer are making - POOR SHOW !!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ebuyer I would firstly like to offer our most humble apologies for the annoyance and frustration which this matter has caused. I can assure that this is not the usual level of service in which Ebuyer UK Ltd strive to offer. All customer feedback is greatly valued within Ebuyer as this is essential in the continuation of our company as we progress forward. As such the feedback you have raised regarding our service has been forward onto the relevant department to be addressed internally. Regarding the unmatched memory it may be quicker resolved if you request a refund on the ones being returned and then reorder both on the same order. Your account has therefore been issued with a free shipping bean. This is a free standard delivery for up to 10 kilos to a UK mainland address. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My reply Thanks for your offer of free carriage, although im not sure I understand how that works and if its city link, its not worth the hassle, however I wanted to point out why I am thinking of never using your company again,, if your true to your word, you will pass this on to the customer service manager, or the MD of the company or even better the person in charge of making the deal with city link (THEY SUCK).............. I also intend to pass my info on to consumer TV program , customers need to know what they are letting themselves in for , the sad thing is that Ebuyer don't seem to under stand that its there carrier that is letting them down , and perhaps the odd dogmatic approach of customer service , who when you call are extremely mater of fact , and your lucky if they apologise , it appears to be as fast as they can get rid of you , and the answer is always No No No and go on the site. I have had better response from enotes that I ever had on the phone, well here is the saga, you be the judge and convince me why I should stay a loyal customer........................... Today for me seems to be the last straw , I have used your company for over 3 years , in all that time I have sent 2 items back , as u can see for my orders I order a fair amount of stuff , but my last order was not delivered yesterday ( im still waiting for it ) , the courier said they attempted to deliver which was a LIE ( I swear as god is my witness) , I was in all day , me and my family were there at the time they say they attempted to deliver ,which I had paid extra cash for , so I wait in all day again today ,no delivery , I call inital city link they say that its not out for delivery and they wont attempt to re-deliver (that's policy for ebuyer), so I have a customer waiting for there computer , I order parts , pay extra , the courier doesn't even try to deliver , I also have cctv at my house and I checked it and no they never even tried , 2 days waiting for a parcel , now im expected to drive 80 miles if I miss them , which is more the norm these days , city link wont speak to me as they say im not the customer , well unless you change your carriers or give us an option to use royal mail or anyone else who cares about the service they provide - I will No longer be a customer - I was shocked at the attitude of city link who say , we deliver once and that's that , if u don't like it buy from else where , that's the deal we have with ebuyer for home deliveries - it doesn't work cos they only deliver in working hours , , what am I left to do , I ask for items to be left at back of house - No cant do sorry .... Well I'll be happy to hear your response, now im off to search the web for a possible new supplier, Shame but there you go - I can't say that I will be advising anyone to use your site - perhaps the opposite - thats why im here |
