From: tom ohara | posted: 18.07.2006 12:50 after reading many dreadful cases of what seemed like incompetence and absolute lack of customer care i was fearing the worst when my mesh computer broke shortly after a years worth of use(it wouldnt turn on or anything). i neednt have worried because they were swift in informing me that i'd have to send it back to them, either with their carrier (about £50) or one that i arranged mself, i chose the latter obviously. i snet it away and waited..........i have had a call this morning (four days after i sent it away, not including weekend) to say they found the problem and have fitted a NEW(not reconditioned, refurbished or anything like that) power unit something and fitted a better graphics card because when the computer went kaput(along with loud electricity sound) it damaged the graphics card. i am yet to test the computer myself.even so i wanted to come on here and post a positive note, i dont know if its the elation of not losing any info off my hard drive but i thought mesh deserved a good review for good customer service. cheers |

From: ginny young | posted: 28.07.2006 17:03 Sorry, but I'm going to have a moan!! Mesh customer service are totally insensitive to the issues of delivery, having sent me a monitor(eventually!) that was completely dead, they then passed the buck backwards and forwards for a week with the supplier till eventually a replacement arrived.Guess what, it was a 3 year old 2nd hand model with no leads, no instructions etc. Then it was replaced so now I have a basic system, with no sound, a dodgy email setup, but can I get online support?? Can I heck!My details will not compute when asked to register and yuo cannot email them unless you register!!!Please, please go to Dell or somebody more reputable, because if you dont score a system that is complete and works straight off , you are shafted! Sorry, but that is a shortened version of life with mesh. Please if you have had bad service contact your local trading standards office as their local office is notified of every complaint. Thanks for the chance to rant!! Ginny |

From: Mr Sensible | posted: 17.08.2006 01:16 I have some information that might be of assistance. I have had similar problems with Mesh. I bought a PC at the begining of the year. It was faulty in just about every component. I contacted the credit card company. They said they would get my money back. They then changed their mind and said I would have to take them to the small claims court and basically washed their hands of my problem. I went to citizens advice and discovered the credit card company shares equal liability with the vendor. I wrote back saying their decision wasn't acceptable and that it would be them I would be taking to court not Mesh. They caved in and are refunding me in full. moral of story. contact your credit card company they have equal liabilty for a bad purchase. If they don't help threaten to take them to court. Mr Sensible Good luck |

From: Jason | posted: 17.08.2006 17:02 I'd heard good stories about Mesh in the PC press so I'd decided to purchase a top end computer. I don't like the Viewsonic range of monitors and wanted to purchase a Samsung instead. After multiple calls to the small business sales desk, whose representatives said they'd phone me back within the hour but never did, they tell me that they can't supply one off monitor orders. Very poor pre-sales attitude I must say. Shame really, because if the sale worked out I was going to place an order for 9 more machines for my development office. So, Evesham or Higrade are going to get the business instead. |

From: Laura | posted: 28.08.2006 17:24 I was bought a mesh laptop for my 18th bday. That was 2 years ago this coming october. When it arrived it was dead. wouldn't switch on or anything so it was sent back and replaced 2 weeks later. I started uni in september and took my laptop with me. Then in late february the damn thing died. i rang mesh and finally 3 weeks later they finally decided that my laptop actually existed. You see they couldnt find it on their wonderful computer system. They finally agreed to pay for the postage of my laptop and i sent it to them. 2 weeks later i ring to find out whats going on, they say cant tell you. Helpful. NOT!! Anyway the saga continues. I eventually get my laptop back a month later and the buggers have broken the case above my cd drive. I ring them and tell them its not on and that i want it fixing but by then its exam time at uni and i cant afford to loose my laptop again. So they note it and say they will fix it FREE when i send it back to them in the summer. I ring them beginning of july (was on a placement till end of june) They say they have no record of my complaint about the case being cracked. The thing is i wouldnt have bothered but the crack is mucking up my cd player and its not working properly. After a few long phone calls, tears and frustration they tell me to basically bugger off. That was a lovely manager at Mobile-support.net. the people mesh buy the laptops from. I ring mesh they say they will try to mediate between myself and the company. Mesh then ring back and say there is nothing they can do. Bullocks!!! They broke my laptop they should bloody well fix it. Mesh then say i should pay the £95 delivery charges and then my laptop will be fixed. I am a student already in debt how the hell can i afford £95. So i told mesh that was unacceptable and they said they would talk to mobile-support.net. That was over a month ago. Never heard back from them. NEVER EVER EVER EVER by from MESH!!!! If anyone has anything that could help me to get my laptop fixed please please get in touch. This company seems to think they can piss people off. email me at lbarraclough"at"gmail"dot"com |

From: Jane Bradbury | posted: 07.09.2006 12:36 Hello hope you can advise me. I have a computer from MESH that is currently being fixed by MESH.They have now had it for just over two months - is this normal ? Can anyone advise me on how I get it back from them fixed ? Yes I have called their customer support for the fixing department ! I would like to know if there is another, more productive, route I can try. Also I have been advised that for a small fee I can get it upgraded to state of the art anyone any experience of this ? Is it worth it ? Don't know how much it would cost as they won't tell me. Thanks Jane Bradbury |

From: Mesh Support | posted: 08.09.2006 09:04 Hi Jane Bradbury, Two months is an excessively long time and despite what some may think I was very surprised to read it. Could you email me your Mesh Order Number along with any other details of the return to me via davey@meshcomputers.com as I would like to look into this and see what i can do to help. Davey |
