From: Paul Jarvis | posted: 19.06.2005 10:07 Thank god for this site! Thank you to all the contributers to it as well, you may well have saved me a lot of heartache and wasted money! Only found this site at the last minute.... when online to find their website, with the purpose of placing an order!! How can this company stay in business, let alone deserve the awards it is supposed to recieve! Taking my money elsewhere now! Like others on here.....going to have to say... Mesh...sort yourselves out! Thanks again to everyone.... Paul Jarvis |

From: Morgan | posted: 25.06.2005 17:57 I have to agree with the majority here and say that Mesh Computers are definitely not recommended. I paid over £1000 for the PC, which did not include a monitor. All seemed fine initially, delivery was as arranged and the PC worked fine. I was happy with the purchase. However, after a short period of time things started to go wrong, and I now realise that having a faulty Mesh PC is only a small part of my many problems. |

From: paul prosser | posted: 25.06.2005 20:24 Ordered Mesh Computer costing £744 early May and requested extended credit (The Edge/ GE Capital). Despite this MESH debited my account. Subsequently completed finance paperwork and was assured by MESH my bank account would be refunded. Now GE Capital have paid MESH but MESH have still failed to refund my accont. This has dragged for 6 weeks and despite numerous phone calls / emails with Dave / Simon Nyss / Fritti Varsini and others I am still waiting. If my experience is anything to go by be very wary of getting involved with this company . |

From: Max | posted: 03.08.2005 20:08 OK, Here my story Simon would phone back about del delay, guess what never did, ended up being a 1 1/2 late. When PC turned up no extra M/B cables supplied, had to request the SLI linkup from them, good news they did ship it out next day. And I now just noticed that the PCI-EXpress Graphic Card has no power cable connected at the PSU supplied with the case does not have an extra PCI-Cable or that an conversion power cable has been supllied. So this means I been running my graphic card for two weeks with no power. Sent an email to support and will keep you updated. The only plus sign is I priced up before I purchased and foundit really hard to get a better self-build price, so do check out some of there deals but be warned it turn up late and you may need to tweak some things. From: Another one. | posted: 14.08.2005 14:24 It's not all bad but watch for hidden catches. I hear what everyone is saying. I have a 'top of the range' system from MESH and at least it was working OK until a major catastrophy following trying to install Norton Systemworks. This first seemed to conflict with the system restore F10 repair module built in. The help guy who always seems to be on the other end of the phone delights in telling me how I have shagged up my system in his condescending manner. He told me to reinstall the recovery disk version of windows which then made the restore option dissappear. On finally getting back through to him he tells me that I shouldn't have really done that and it appeared to be my fault! Now my computer is unuseable and I have been told that my on site warranty doesn't cover this sort of thing and I would have to send it back to MESH at a cost of £95! Anyway although everything was fine up until now it isn't until this happens that you discover there are no clues as to which drivers you need and which software has not been packaged with your system which you have actually purchased from them such as the sound card software. I'm sure the intentions at MESH were good in tryinng to eliminate the difficulty in restoring knackered operating systems by providing the factory restore but there is no default in recovering your system if you lose it. I suspect that if the company doesn't want to follow TINY then they will take this as a lesson and go back to sending all the appropriate drivers and software with instructions on how to do the fix ourselves. The money they have forced us to pay them in help line costs by putting statements like 'do not do this until you have called our helpline' will soon be offset by lost sales and loss of goodwill. Come on MESH this forum alone has evidence of nearly £10,000 of lost sales.....I guess this is just the tip of the iceberg, that's a lot of £1 a minute phone calls. |

From: P*ssed off | posted: 18.08.2005 10:55 Have to agree with everyone. MESH COMPUTERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT BUY! You have been warned. Brought a laptop approx. 3 years ago. Firsty never delivered when promised. Machine did work great until after 18-months motherboard packed in. Cost £450 to repair. Battery pack also does not last. Now 12-months after last replacement motherboard new one has also packed up. Complained to deaf ears. Promised me they would fix the problem but now after sending the machine back are trying to get me to buy another new motherboard. DO I HAVE MUG WRITTEN ON MY HEAD? NO!!!! Have already bought a new machine from a more respectable company. MESH NEVER ANSWER CALLS. They also NEVER REPLY TO CALLS. Stay clear from them it is only a matter of time before they go bust. I give them 3-6 months. Utterly crap machines, Crap service and crap staff. P.S. if you want to get through to them more quickly, try this number.....0208 438 3300. They will answer straight away, hang on the line for the person you want do not accept they are on the phone or not in they will put you though. |

From: Perry | posted: 24.08.2005 21:38 If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never have believed how many people are 'upset' with Mesh. fortunately I have never had the misfortune to purchase a PC from this company, but it looks as though countless people have, and are now regretting it! I have a small business building and repairing computers, recently somebody was recommended to me who had a Mesh computer, still within its guarantee but prepared to pay for repairs because the backup from Mesh was so bad! I am at a loss as to why they don't provide a proper recovery CD complete with drivers et al, sticking all the recovery files into a hidden partition on the HD might cut costs for them (and provide a good source of £1 per minute help on the 'phone) but is absolutley no good whatsoever to the ordinary bloke (or blokette) on the street who has got a corrupt system and needs a quick fix, ie just booting to a recovery CD. Things needn't be so complicated!!! |

From: Richard | posted: 25.08.2005 16:56 What, i've had a great little giggle reading some of these - I don't mean it in a bad way. It just make me laugh, these big corporations only care about taking your money, the after care service is rubbish. If any off you are looking to purchase a top end PC and not get totally ripped off at the price, I mean, some of you have been paying almost £2,000, are you insane!!! You should purchase something from Dell, really, you should check out their website! |

From: Simon | posted: 31.08.2005 11:39 Just ordered from the Mesh site, on Friday, not heard anything from them through the post and am worried about the company from reading people's experiences on here. Can I cancel it now, before I get delivery date or is it too late? Has anyone done this before? Cheers. |
