From: Frank | posted: 06.01.2005 18:05 Hi, i got a question about a HP Vectra VL400. I want to put a big harddisk in this machine but i dont know if it support a 200GB HDD. My bios is a phoenix bios (IP.01.04 Dutch) and not upgraded. I allready have downloaded a upgrade but that one is a UK. version and i dont know if thats a problem, so i didn`t do it yet. Can anyone tell me if the system (with curent bios (year 2000)) will support 200GB HDD (Maxtor). Thanks so far Regards, Frank. |

From: nblue_elf | posted: 04.04.2005 13:10 Im confused as to how much memory the motherboard can handle, the article says 512mb, is that for each slot or all together? I want to put 2 x 512mb sticks into the VL400 but i dont really want to spend the money if its not going to use them... |

From: jack | posted: 28.12.2006 15:39 I have this machine and the hardware manuals, which you can access and download from HP at http://www.hp.com/go/vectrasupport, specify that the maximum system memory is 512 MB. You can have 2x256 or a single 512. |
