i haven't had my Samsung D500 long, i thought the video recording was 4 1/2 mins at a time well my friends is and my isn't. Mine is the Sgh....etc is there a difference or can i jus change some settings?

How do i put video clips on my d500 from my pc. i can put music on there but im struggling with videos.

just like to say thank you to everyone that has helped me out by tellin me download pims and file manager and what com to set it to thanks to everyone also go to setup in file manager and keep setting diffrent com's because when the right one comes it automatically loads all your phones sim so u can start sendin mp'3

Hi, just bought a USB data cable for my E330. The cable installs fine but I can't get the PIMS 1.0 to work. Says "Cannot open the port bla bla...".
Under the Prolific USB-to-serial bridge in Device manager I have a variety of options under gate settings, eg. no. of bits, no. of data bits, parity, closing bits, flow control, fifo settings etc. I tried many combinations but it's all the same.
Has anyone worked around these settings and maybe found a working solution?

I am using XP, SP2.

One more thing - I read on internet that some of these cables work only with patching software and not for the regular phone to pc data link for up/downloading photos, midis, phonebook etc. Couldn't find any appropriate software for patching/unlocking the phone so far, nonetheless. Any hints on this issue?

Hope someone can help me here. I have a D500 and datasuite USB cable.

I've installed the Pim file manager software, and tried to set the connection settings by going to file and set-up, but it will not allow me to set a com port - the drop down list is just blank, anyone got any ideas?
