From: Michael | posted: 03.05.2005 05:06 I think this seems like a fine camera and a great buy but I can't find any information on battery specs. It seems like it might be a NP900 but the contacts look slightly different. I see that in Germany this camera is named Maginon and also that this model does not have a Vivitar clone that I find. Any help on a battery would be most appreciated. |

From: Jim | posted: 11.06.2005 22:08 I bought the traveler slimline x5 in May to use on vacation and I am having trouble with many of the pictures having a red tint to them. The only thing I could do to fix them on my computer was to make them black and white. Indoor flash pictures at 10 feet also have a heavy red or pink tint. How can I fix the setting to get better color pictures. The automatic setting really only works outside on sunny days and if I support the camera so that there is no movement. I am not really impressed with this one. For the price I expected easier automatic picture taking especially indoors within 10-12 feet. |

From: Jim | posted: 15.06.2005 04:27 I was having a problem with red tint. Adjusting teh Exposure helped. See page 33 of booklet. Also the green could be caused by the artificial lighting. Under setting the white balance you can adjust for tungsten or flourescent lighting. |

From: Brent | posted: 01.11.2005 14:47 I just bought a Slimline X5 and it takes great Pictures but I am having trouble with when I use the video. It's not the clearest video, it's like it digitizes or Pixilizes.... I have it on the highest settings.. Does anyone have any idea how to get it to come out less digitaltized? |

From: Alex P | posted: 07.11.2005 16:12 I bought this camera, and was at first dissapointed because I could not turn off all of the sound functions (like the artificial shutter release sound when you take a photo), but a firmware upgrade that was pretty easy fixed that, and I haven't had any problems. Great inexpensive camera! |

From: Erwin A. | posted: 09.11.2005 18:38 Just got hold of the Slimline X5. Because it's the same as the Benq E53 I've just looked to their site and they are mentioning a firmware update concerning video problems?? Maybe a solution for the not so good quality of video? Maybe I will try it tomorrow. Greetz, Erwin |
