Ok I just bought this slimline x5, but I have a problem. When I connect my camera to my usb port and I press the power button.. I will see this message: HI-SPEED USB Device Plugged into non-HI-SPEED USB hub.
So I installed the software on the disc, but that doesnt change anything.
Can someone tell what to do? (my english sucks, so the hotline is going to be difficult for me)

Hi, I bought the camera as well, but can't get the noise away. I updated the camera with the new FIRMWARE from the site that was given above but it didn't work. What should I do now??

Once you have done the update, you have to turn the camera sounds off. In the Camera mode, press the menu button, then select the Setup tab. It's the first icon - it looks like a little speaker. It also controls the beeping sound when you press any other buttons. It's just that before when you turned the sounds off, the shutter sound didn't get turned off. Now it does.

FYI - there is an english firmware update posted on both the UK and US traveler sites.

hi suzanne - assuming windowsxp, that message usually indicates you have both types of usb ports on your PC ( USB versions 1.1 and 2.0). 2.0 is much faster (newer) and the traveler is set up to use 2.0. the message is coming from your operating system, simply telling you a better option is available.

Hi, i send my traveller to update at the danish service, because updating myself invalidates the danish guarantee!
The sound is gone, yahoo! But i still have it freeze sometimes when i take movies; any experiences with this?
I also got mine in aldi, including 2 batteries and 256card for dkr1800=€240:)

I use camera for 2 months, work fine but,.............
Somtime's software is blocking and only solution is to take out battery and restart. Last picture/movie is also lost.

What can solve my problem?

My camera works fine, but when I download to the PC some pictures (not all) are distorted. Most of them have a strongly-coloured tint over part of the picture, but the rest of it is OK. The miniatures seem OK, and they were all OK when we tested the camera on a photo printer. I have problems in MS Paint and Picture It. Any ideas? Could it be the PC graphics card?

Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows what name brand camera company makes the Traveler Slimline X5 Digital Camera as well as all the other Traveler Digital Cameras. I have been guessing ever since I bought the camera.
