From: Albert Santi | posted: 17.06.2005 22:02 I purchased the 7310 a few months ago. There were so many problems with it that HP sent me another one. Now I have the problems below. I'd reallly like to get my money back and purchase another similar machine made by another company. I did always recomment HP, but not anymore. 1) it won't scan; 2) in the beginning copies were faded; now they seem to be OK but have not done a large set yet; 3) When copying, the automatic paper setting does not work, if you want legal you have to manually set it; 4) It did not come with a duplex tray which I paid extra for; 5) keeps giving me a warning that something was done using the photo cartridge; 6) The quality of color copying is very poor. |

From: Mark | posted: 27.09.2005 11:33 I bought an HP 7310i earlier this year and had problems transfering images to PC's on my wireless network. I spent a fortune trying to get advice from HP's technical support without success. I finally complained to their CEO and eventually had a call from their support centre in India. They gave me a work around which might be useful to others having this problem. Start / Run: enter \\printer IP address (space) memory_card. This seems to work OK. This will only work if your HP is already communicating with your network. I was able to print from all PC's but not transfer images or scan. |

From: Tech1960 | posted: 05.10.2006 05:10 I'm wanting to purchase a HP 7310. Can anyone tell me if I can scan to a designated file on one of my network computers if I connect using a ethernet cable to a switch and not the directly using the USB? |
