Can anyone please explain why I keep getting this fault up on my computer and any way of curing it?

Hmm... It's either something very simple, like a dodgy modem/network driver, or something more drastic, like a corrupted DLL file.
Does it only happen with IE? The age-old advice would be 'reinstall...', but that's not necessarily very helpful.

Thanks for the advice Alex. Yes, it does seem to only happen on IE. Is there any way of checking which of the two faults you mentioned it might be?

Make sure you've got the latest drivers for your modem/network adapter. If it still crashes after that, then a reinstallation would probably be in order (just IE, though, not all of Windows!). If that doesn't solve it, I'm beyond the limits of my experience...
