From: atkoj | posted: 31.10.2005 22:30 That's a good answer from "the man", but be advised that laptops are not the ideal platform for gaming. This is because they start out far less powerful than desktops (even if they have the same processor GHz, RAM, and model of graphics card, they are considerably slower). They are also generally not upgradeable, so whereas a £50 graphics card upgrade will make your 4-year-old desktop play recent games, a 6-month-old laptop may NOT be able to. This is not to put you off laptops, only to consider the disadvantages of them (aside from them being more expensive), and to be realistic about playing games on them.
