From: Amsfeld | posted: 10.11.2005 21:36 Please can someone help? I've just bought this thing, when i turn it on it eventually says "Problem! Connect to computer". When I connect it to my PC, Windows (Xp Home ed, pack 2) recognises it as a removable disk, but cannot access it, ie I can't format it. When I use the bundled software, it just doesn't recognise the player at all. Can someone tell me what is going wrong |

From: Jamie | posted: 25.01.2007 21:01 Hi i had the exact same problem, the people at Philips were rubbish, eventually i took off all the software including Musicmatch. I then downloaded a philips device manager from the website, ( i think its the firmware upgrade)which restores all the settings and upgrades the firmware. Before you plug in the HDD u must install all the software from the CD and then use the device manager/ firmware. I'm afraid this is the only option and you do lose all your tracks |
