please can anyone help due to a flood my manual for the traveler DC 8300 pages 41 - 47 cannot be read can anyone e mail the details of shutter speed prioty photography made,aperture mode, manual modesetting the scene mode,setting the panorama mode ,movie mode.My manual has dried out but is a tad grot if anyone can replace for me I would be so very grateful thanks debs

Hi all. I bought a DC8300 from my local Aldi last week, it's a great buy, also an extra memory card. I have several excellent digi and film cameras and it ranks with the best of the digis. Don't be snobby about the name if that's a concern. The same camera is in Argos with a Hitachi branding (HDC-831E) at £279.99!!
Many compact digi cameras use the same chips, etc - its often only the label that's different (and the price).
I've bought a load of Aldi kit , it's sourced through their German parent company, (although probably all made in the far east) and I've had no problems at all. Buy it quick!
