From: Merlin | posted: 11.04.2006 01:43 Remove the Battery Remove the Hard Disk Remove the DIMM Memory from underneath the Laptop and remove the 2x KEYBOARD screws Turnover laptop and REMOVE the KEYBOARD by pushing back the 4 x Spring clips between keys "esc" & "F1" - "F4" & "F5" - "F8" & "F9" - "F12" & "DELETE" Remove the 2nd DIMM Memory and Unclip the Battery from Mainboard. Leave for 30 minutes then start with mains ONLY no battery or Hard Disk Hey Presto - BIOS NOW RESET including Password Switch Off and now put all back together |

From: JH | posted: 02.01.2007 11:01 Worked for me. Took everything off as explained above (battery, HD, RAM, cmos battery). Left it alone for little over 30 minutes. Didn't plug anything back.. Just the powercord and then powered up. Kept it running for a minute, then shutdown. After this i put everything back, started up pressed F10 and got in to bios, no questions asked. |
