CAn you advise please?

I am looking for the lightest possible notebook. What would you suggest? if you cant suggest then please advise what paremeters to put into the "search" facility on websites such as yours

I have an Acer Travelmate 4601 which i am very happy with except that it is too heavy to carry around.

I have a Dell Latitude x300 which is ultra-lightweight. You could carry this no problem. It's probably out of date now as it's two years old, but if you go to the Dell website and look at the top end notebooks you'll probably find weights stated there. If anything, their newest versions will be even lighter than this one.
