From: Emmy | posted: 02.08.2006 16:08 this is seriously bugging me. i found a site online that has the answer to our problems but we are looking at paying a monthly subscription just to find out, which i refuse to do. i have had this scanner for years but have left it unplugged for a good 3 years atleast, it worked fine originally but now its doing the whole ooo unlock me thing and im n the same boat where there is no lock. i cant find any info out on the visioneer site, although thatis a very helpful site. |

From: John | posted: 30.01.2007 19:00 Hi guys don't know wether this will still help you but I had the same problem & just managed to scan again! Firstly I reset the Twain device (using twain_reset.exe, found by searching on google & viewing the cached page) Then In paperport I did File>acquire & then the scanner tried but suggested I may be scanning in another application. I realised this was because the scanner arm was'nt moving so in a very technical way I hit the scanner a few slaps to the front & hey presto I'm back in business! Hope thats of use to someone! |
