From: smudger | posted: 22.02.2006 20:17 clone 1 hard drive 2 another hard drive? yes is the answer. software called norton ghost.works very well... other way of doing it,is to put another hard drive in p.c on slave then copy all contents to new hard drive... hope this helps |

From: howie | posted: 28.02.2006 10:11 Suggest you read all on line info on this subject before trying. Sometimes Ghost will not provide a bootable partition. Sometimes it will. If you are not looking to transfer the OS then get a bootable floppy with the XCOPY file put one drive as master and the other as slave or master on the secondary IDE and then A:\Xcopy C: D: /S should do the trick. In Windows ensure all files are showing and Copy/Paste. |
