From: a reader | posted: 13.02.2006 22:31 Are you guys interested in feedback about manufacturers abysmal after sales service? Evesham! – Rubbish! Don't waist your money!!! I bought a top line Axis MKR plus, cost £1262.82 If you have a problem & I did after 4 hours. This company won’t help you! Yes! Brand new, out of the box, set it up, turned it on and I got 4 hours of normal use out of it before it went down, big stile. And if you think that 4 hours is terrible product reliability, then wait, there’s another kick in the guts coming your way. Because Evesham offer you next to nothing by way of help. The excuse for a customer service department can’t book engineers over a weekend. So you have to call back on Monday. Despite having paid for the full 3 year OSM, the best they can do is make you wait 12 days before they can be bothered to send out an engineer. Yes 12 days!!! They take your money and dump you! Please tell everyone not make the same mistake as I did. |

From: Des | posted: 23.02.2006 13:13 Sorry to hear that. My last 3 computers, one laptop and two desktops, have been from Evesham and I can say that I am more than happy with the quality of each of the systems and that when problems have occured, that thy have been quick to resolve them. Either you're unlucky or I'm lucky. |

From: NoviceHelp | posted: 12.03.2006 21:37 I bought a top line desktop loaded with options and their much vaunted (before the sale) BIG FIX system and 3 year service package. When I had a problem no one wanted to know. The local branch suggested I contacted the support department. Sent out a number of emails but never had a reply. Th elast thing no wis that the fan which is getting increasingly noisy may well pack up. I am now looking for a laptop but am reluctant to use them now. Sorry. |

From: Dave Lomas | posted: 02.04.2006 22:31 Had my Evesham desktop for over 3 years now, only had to call on the helpdesk once for advice, which was prompt and accurate. The PC is in daily use, and has only had one fault (a noisy fan in the power supply) which I replaced myself at the cost of £5 as it was then out of its 3 year warranty. The quality of components used in the build is excellent, which has been proved by its reliability, so I really can't complain. Overall its been a superb system and I shan't hesitate to look at another Evesham when the time comes to upgrade. |
