From: Allan Forrest | posted: 09.03.2006 11:40 I have recently purchased a 120GB hard drive and installed it into my computer. However when running FDISK to create primary and extended partitions, I am being told there is only 2GB available. Where am I going wrong? or can anyone help Thanks. |

Second, what operating system are you using? The original Windows 95 (and earlier) does not support partitions larger than 2GB, for example. Third, how old is the computer / motherboard you are using? Some really old motherboards can't handle drives this large. |
