I've recently been looking at upgrading my graphics card from a x300se hypermemory (128mg) and I'm dumbfounded by the range and seeming similarity of all the cards available in my price range (upto £175). I've never encountered so many meaningless acronyms and abbreviations! Basically I've narrowed it down to 4 choices: the XFX geforce 7600gt 256mb XXX; the Gainward Geforce "goes like hell" 6800gs 512mb tvo; the Radeon X1800gto and the sapphire x800 gto2.
I thought I was pretty tech savvy but I don't mind admitting to being totally confused.....Any guidance? danbojones at gmail dot com.
