From: Jason Haid | posted: 13.06.2001 01:11 I just purchased back triple play cd rw drive. and have the software that came with it adaptec easy cd creator 4.3 or something. i have updated the software from their site. to like 4.5, as well as downloaded the latest cdrw drive driver. my problem is that this thin is supposed to be able to write at 8x speed. when i go to make cd, it only gives me the choice of 2x, or 4x. my computer has 128 ram. has a Pentium 3 processor. and is in good running order. what do u do to get the burner writing at what it is supposed to be running at?
