From: Sharon | posted: 30.01.2007 21:09 I also had a nightmare with PC NextDay - I ordered a zoostorm and when it arrived, I opened the box with the tower in it only to find it was missing a power cable - ominous at best...having gone through all the boxes and components, it was still missing - as was a power cable for the monitor. This should be simple enough for them to send out the missing cables - but at least 10-15 emails later, I still hadn't received a single response. Fuming, I managed to get a hold of their customer services manager, who didn't apologise and didn't arrange delivery of the missing cables until I wrote back and told her that rather than send the missing cables, she could simply send their courier to get the whole machine - I said I wasn't interested in dealing with a company that can't even send out a power cable - what if I needed real support? They don't supply phone numbers, and their technical support lines are unmanned at all times - you may as well ring your gran, she would at least pick up the phone. So in short - don't do it! The prices may be good and the system specs impressive, but you are truly up sh*t creek without a paddle if anything whatsoever goes wrong. |

From: Sam | posted: 02.03.2007 17:24 Having read a very favourable review in PC Advisor I ordered a Zoostorm 4-7501. A quick acknowledgement of my order and over 1400 quid was taken off my credit card. That was on 6 Feb. Nothing happened until about a week ago when I received an e-m to say they 'expected' delivery by 8 March. Perhaps this company would be better named PC Nextmonth? What really niggles me is that they have had my money for almost a month now and my credit card company will expect me to pay up soon! |
