I read your review of the Canon 4200F scanner and it formed part of my decision to buy one. Overall I find your review to have been fairly accurate, except in one significant aspect. If the scanner has been left switched on during the day (as would be normal in a working environment), it takes 1 minute 40 seconds to warm up out of standby mode before you can make a "quick" one-off copy!!!
