From: Janset | posted: 24.06.2006 08:04 Hi all. I have a Pentium 3, IBM ThinkPad T21 that is running Win 98 SE. The memory is 192MB Ram consisting of 2 sticks, 64 MB and 128MB. I am led to believe that this is the usual size fitted to my version/model laptop. My question: Why 192MB, it's such a bogey size, why not 256 made up of 2 sticks of 128MB? Is there some limitations precluding the 256 MB installation? I hope someone can explain as I can not seem to find anything relating to this on the IBM site. My email address if requred is jansetau at yahoo dot com Regards |
