I happen to like the Osaris even with it's screen and sticky keys. The most bang for the buck but...
the power supply problem. Both the double A battery main and the backup power spend much too quickly. Is there any kind of fix for this problem and where can i find an A/C power supply?

i am sorry, i know this is not relevant to your problem but my sister has purchased an osaris without cables and the pen. is it possible to use the osaris without the pen. or where can i find a pen. can i use any palmtop pen?
the cables supplied with the osaris is it a normal serial cable or a special cable?

Depends what you call 'quickly'. I'd have expected at least 12 hours power-on use. If it's much less than that on Alkaline batteries there might be a problem.
If Osaris themselves don't supply a power supply, you should be able to get one from Psion that would do the job. Or check the voltage, polarisation and current requirements carefully and buy an off-the-shelf mains transformer from an electrical/electronics shop.
