From: R Puccini | posted: 27.06.2001 00:12 I happen to like the Osaris even with it's screen and sticky keys. The most bang for the buck but... the power supply problem. Both the double A battery main and the backup power spend much too quickly. Is there any kind of fix for this problem and where can i find an A/C power supply? |

From: Alex | posted: 03.07.2001 10:02 Depends what you call 'quickly'. I'd have expected at least 12 hours power-on use. If it's much less than that on Alkaline batteries there might be a problem. If Osaris themselves don't supply a power supply, you should be able to get one from Psion that would do the job. Or check the voltage, polarisation and current requirements carefully and buy an off-the-shelf mains transformer from an electrical/electronics shop. Alex |
