Haven't you noticed that the Twinhead model is just listed as Core Duo. This a Core 2 Duo.

I'm really hoping it can take a 2GB module but I have a horrible feeling 1GB is max.

I already bought one (£600 in store at PC World by printing internet discounted price from Dixons site and they matched it). How do you get the Vista upgrade ref message above - there's nothing with the machine to redeem?

Anyone know how to use the card reader? I just tried inserting my PSP's pro duo and nearly lost it... Do i need an adapter?

Took the plunge... Had mine delivered this morning!

First impressions are very good apart from the heat. Don't use it on a dining room table or you might find yourself in as much bother as I'll be in when the missus gets home!!!

One last thing... Why in the name of all that is holy do they always load up new PCs with crap software?!?

just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the DVD drive. Most discs are OK but a couple aren't being picked up... I'm told "There is no disc in the drive" or words to that effect.
I tried the same discs in my desktop and DVD player. No problem!

Otherwise it's a cracker!

I walked into PCWorld today with a printout of the Currys checkout page at £584.10 (£649 + 'price10' discount)
I asked since Currys were the same group, would they match the price to save me a couple of days wait.:
They agreed, and Im using the laptop to type this :)

Thanks for that Andy, I have just printed out the same from Curry's and will give it a bash at PC World today - if it's "no go" will just come home and order it on the internet! I tried printing your reply to back it up but only got a blank page!
