From: Chopper36 | posted: 10.07.2001 18:08 I am an inside sales rep utilizing the computer consistently throughout the business day. After looking at this monitor for about two months, I firmly believe that my eyesight has gotten worse. My colleague uses the same model for about a month now and complains about how damaging the monitor's emittance of radiation is. Is anyone else having this problem? By the way, I sit about 2 feet away when I'm typing and about 15-20 inches when I'm researching online. The brightness is in its mid-range. |

What's more likely to be a problem is the effect of office lighting combined with screen glare. You might find that moving to a different position/desk, or changing the lighting, will help your eyes. From: Dave | posted: 16.10.2001 14:11 I own a Diamond Plus 17" A boots opticion told me to sit 1.5 - 2 feet away and adjust the monitor so that when looking directly ahead your eyes are in line with the very top of the monitor. You should always be looking slightly down onto the screen. This fixed things for me. |
