From: H.Stavrakis | posted: 11.07.2001 03:01 I think that the essence of the Toshiba Equium 2000 is the fact that you get designer styling and compactness in a desktop,instead of the typical bulky items and mess normally available for these applications. This is especially useful in areas where bulky or space-occupying items and loose wiring is undesireable and aesthetics is the paramount consideration. True,a laptop would have done the job as well,but unless portability is a must,this solution seems more practical and useable and, if specifications improve, this might start a new trend. |

From: Alex | posted: 13.07.2001 16:00 That's fair enough, but it wasn't a particularly good example of the breed. Newer slimline 'all-in-one' machines are a bit better, but still they usually involve a rather large price premium, and aren't exactly selling in huge numbers. Alex |
