can someone please tell me if there is any way i can get video in with my erazor 3 card on windows 2000 (the elsa site says that the new driver does not support it)
please help me...

If they say it can't, then you could either try an older driver (if you have one that works) or perhaps try a driver for a different card that's based on the same graphics chip, or one for the chip itself. Although I suspect this will only work if Elsa used the basic reference card design.
