I know that you are probably recommended to use a mouse instead of your touch pad but i found that my touch pad has worn away within one month and i havent used it all that much. Rather disappointed with that, anyone find theirs the same with this model (philips x55) as want to know if anyone has done anything about it ie taken it back or asked for it to be replaced, dont want a shabby looking laptop when its just 1 month old.

Mine has done the same after a few months, which is a bit disappointing.

Technically, it's cosmetic so isn't covered under the warranty as it doesn't effect the purpose of the laptop.

It does look a bit off, though. I'm hoping someone knows of a way I can repaint it :-D
