From: a reader (via e-mail) | posted: 22.10.2001 15:26 I purchased the Pine D'Music SM320F Mp3 player about 1 month ago. I noticed in your review that you made no mention about difficulties with the software, yet with my Compaq Presario 5220 running Windows 98, I cannot download so much as one whole song without getting a BRCOMM32.dll error. I tried going to the site and reading the faqs and manuals, but they are of no help at all - for someone relatively computer literate in a computer science degree. I have emailed Pine 5 times so far asking for help, but they have ignored me all but once, whereupon they ignored me anyway and simply told me to download the ver2.2 software, which I had done several times. The odd part is, it worked absolutely fine under win2k, but I can't use win2k because I simply have a demo version and some hardware components I have are incompatible with it. Can you help me perhaps? I have had very little luck so far with getting anyone at all to help, it would be appreciated, thanks. |
