From: Martin | posted: 25.11.2001 17:05 I have had an Elonex pc for two years now and have had no trouble. When I caught a virus, the tech support was most helpful in talking me through re-formatting the c drive. I am now looking for another pc and they have given me a very attractive quote....BUT...when I purchased my last machine in Nov 99, they were advertising in all the magazines and getting reviews etc, but I can't find a single review or advert from them now, and was wondering if they either no longer specialise in the 'home pc' market, or worse still, are cutting back due to 'difficulties'. Anyone have any ideas why they seem to have gone so quiet??? Thanks |

From: Waheed Mahmood | posted: 10.12.2001 14:06 I have just this weekend bought an Elonex PC through QVC (UK). Elonex are apparently going to start targeting the home market once again according to the presenters. I was concerned about the quality but you have had one for two years without any problems so can't be bad. I managed to get a three warranty as well in the deal from QVC on the Elonex XP 1700. You can but on-line from Elonex (www.elonex.co.uk) but at the moment I seem to be having problems getting to it. Hope this helps |
