From: A reader (via e-mail) | posted: 11.12.2001 08:52 In your article you stated that "a 40MB Pocket Zip disk only holds around half a typical album." but.... that is not true. It holds far more than half a typical cd. I own a Iomega hipzip and can currently have 25 songs or more on one card at once.... The player comes with 2 cards so I feel that this is a great deal. Also in your article you left out many of the very inportant characteristics that make the Iomega hipzip great. For instance the file transfer system. I have owned many mp3 player in my time , for instance, Nomad II, Nomad I, D-link 16 MB, RCA's Lyra, all great mp3 players, all of them with superb features. The Hipzip disks are set up on your hard drive as actual drives. So this makes it easy to tranfers music at high speeds, you simply just drag and drop. I also love the menu and playlist systems. They both make it very easy to navigate though your files and customize the very way you play your music. |
