I am trying to locate a small voice recorder (dictaphone) which has the capacity to be downloaded onto a pc and then converted into a word document using ibm viavoice or similar. can anyone help

I think Dragon Systems used to have a machine that did that. Might be worth searching the Web for 'portable speech recognition'.
Dragon was bought by L&H which was in turn bought by ScanSoft and I'm not sure if that gadget is still in the product range.
