From: Geoff | posted: 22.03.2002 21:45 I paid a total of £2447.53 for an Axis 1333DDR-G3PC. The equipment received was a lower spec than ordered and paid for. evesham.com maintain that because I did not raise this within 24 hours of receipt there is no case to answer, I was unable to get any response by phone on the day so had to write a letter which they claim was never received they also claim other letters sent recorded delivery where never received. Both MICROSOFT and independent experts confirm that the WINDOWS ME supplied by evesham (on recovery CD only) is faulty. MICROSOFT say evesham have the right to alter the software and the alterations by evesham will be the result of my problems as the expert report confirms some problems are resolved by use of a CD supplied by MICROSOFT. The recovery CD supplied by evesham states that they have sole responsibility for the performance of the software on it but when supplied with the independent expert report they deny responsibility for any software issue. Has anyone had a similar experience? |
