Have had trouble doing hd backups w/nero 5.5. Prompt keeps asking for enough cdr's to backup complete hd, not just portion used. Probably just missing a step, but can't find directions. Tech support at Ahead Nero was totally non-responsive. C. R.

I had the same problem. Nero attempts to back up your whole hard drive wether it's full or not. So in a sense it's backing up empty space.
Ahead say that this is a bug and should be fixed in later releases.
I have a funny feeling though that we could be waiting for sometime maybe to version 6 or 7.
