From: Chetan | posted: 24.04.2002 11:45 Hi all I recently baught a new pc and the ATI Rage 128 GL 32MB AGP 3d+DVD card was included with the pc. I am haveing some strange problems with it and wonder if anyone can help. When booting up the resolution defaults to 600 x 480 with 16bit color. I have win 2000 Professional os and the mother board is an Asus A7V133 - VM SND+SAV4 VGA 1xAGP. After reinstalling the card it works fine untill the next boot up. The suppliers have been very diffcult and said that the card and the os with the motherboard are not compatible. I cannot belive this as the card work fine after the reinstall untill the next boot. If anyone has any views and or comments/hints please email me on chetan.gordhan@hicor.net Thank you all for your assistance |

From: Alex | posted: 09.05.2002 17:38 I had this problem with various cards. The solution seems (sometimes) to be to delete all references to graphics cards in your system, then install a standard VGA driver. Then remove the card physically, reinstall it and hopefully things will work... |
