Than I was warned by Skyline Engineering (they sell power supplies for the Astro) that the problem is often the Motherboard. That started me thinking. It turned out to be the CMOS battery on the Mobo that was dead. After replacing it (15 minutes work ,2032 battery type, $2) the system started again like new. |

Your a life saver dude!! I love these tech discussion forums,review boards & posts so much!! I'm a amatuer tech and these forums have saved my butt more then 1 time. It's a neighbor Astro, how much should I charge him? a couple 100? LOL Thanks so much guy & everyone! |
