From: Joe F. | posted: 25.03.2003 17:30 I'm looking for a software to be used for making personal but creative cards. I have hp photo Imaging, Microsoft Picture It - 2002 and Kodak software (with my DK 3600 camera) but these are not adequate for my purposes. I'd like to easily make personal, paper cards using the popular sizes that are commercially available, for example, one 8 1/2" X 11" sheet converted to two 1/4" X 5 1/2" cards,. I frequently use my own edited, digital photos with some creativity such as dialogue boxes, etc. I've been looking at PrintShop Delux v15, Photoshop Elements 2, and Photosuite Plat. Ed. 5. I''m leaning towards the latter but really don't know whether any of these will work well with the sizes and types of cards I've outlined above. Any suggestions on: 1) Best software for me. 2) How to tell if a given software works smoothly with the type of cards I'd make. Thanks, Joe F. |

From: J. martin | posted: 28.06.2005 00:53 I have used several software greeting card programs. I have Hallmark 2004 Deluxe, Printmaster Silver 15, National Geographic, and Art Explosion Greeting Card Factory Deluxe V3. The Art Explosion program is clearly the best for me. It is more flexible and easily used. You can import any image you desire, and create texts. There are some ready made cards, and you can edit them. The next best is the Hallmark, but is not as easy to edit. The Printmaster is OK, and easier to navigate than the Hallmark, but the Hallmark has the best ready made cards. The National Geographic is not very good, and not comparable to the others. Jerry |
