From: Martin | posted: 20.05.2004 20:53 Hi Julie You only need a driver if you have a Windows 98 Operating System (or Mac OS 8.6). Go to page 79 in the user manual, it explains what to do. In a nut shell: - ONLY if you have Win 98 insert the CD (it should autorun, if not go to the CD Directory and run the Camera.exe program) Load the Win 98 Driver by clicking on "Load USB Driver" Connect the Charger/Power Supply Ensure the Camera is OFF Turn the Dial to PlayBack - The little Green Triangle Plug the USB lead into the Camera Plug the USB lead into the PC Power "ON" the Camera - it should come on and display "USB Mode" and the led should flash green for a few seconds and then go continuous. Go and find your new drive on the PC and copy your pictures |

From: dave | posted: 21.05.2004 00:57 hi julie, read your msg on the forum if you have`nt had a reply this might help.after putting in the disc open the drive its in and then look for the folder setup open that and that should start the process of installing the software.if that doesn`t work just plug the camera into its usb lead close any widows that open then open the photo album or photoshop you have on your pc then go to find in the tool bar and click on devices (a video camera or disc icon)this should locate the pics on the camera for you ,choose the folder you want to store them in and it should download them for you. |
