Looking at the dial from the top, the PC setting is the next setting if you turn the dial in an anti-clockwise direction from the "set up" position..

Liz - have the same problem. The model sold at £199 has a PC setting on the dial whereas this latest model does not. So far I have not found a method of transferring the images to the computer.
Can anyone out there help?

I have just bought DC5300 and use Windows 98, occassionally the removable disk icon hasn't appeared but if I restart computer again it always appears and I have no problems downloading images or movies, being more than pleased with the results.

I purchased a Traveler DC 5300 from ALDI, but I'm missing the CD-ROM on which to download my pictures. Where can I get one.

Can any help wioth transfering images to a PC runninh Windows XP and software supplied with DC5300. The software lists 11 camera makes but not the Traveller. How 0can I make the computer recognise the camera if its not listed on the software package supplied. Is the Frrephone (to Germany) really free. Rang to-day and listened to Mozart for 35 minutes before I gave up!! Any help would be appreciated. If you call me on 01630 698110 I will return your call to discuss. Do you mean the CD with the photo editing software etc. If so, simply go back to Aldi and ask them to supply one, as there should have been one in the box

Very happy with my camera although I have to admit I am no expert as my knowledge of other cameras is limited. Agree on one point of criticism that brightly lit subjects give odd coloured photographs. The small fiddly on button is also an annouance.
In their favour I cannot commend their guarantee too highly. I dropped my camera and it became un usable. I dreaded having to contact a German phone number yet the gentleman on the other end spoke better English than I did. He decided that the camera needed returning. It was replaced with a new one and the whore process took only 6 days. Can any UK firm beat that.
