From: Tom B. | posted: 18.08.2004 03:35 I need some help. We have an exchange student from Germany living with us who brought a Traveler DC4000 digital camera with her. She would like to download her pictures on to our computer but I don't know how to do it. I assume that some sort of software needs to be loaded on to our computer in order to be able to download the pictures. She has a handbook that came with the camera (it's in German) but no disk with software. Any ideas? She does have the USB cable. |

From: Eamon Jurdzis | posted: 10.10.2004 09:22 TO CONNECT IN PC MODE (XP) If your dial dont have a PC setting, set it to playback mode (Blue arrow). TURN THE CAMERA OFF. Connect the USB cable to the PC and then the camera. Now switch the camera on. Depending on your PC you may have to wait a little while. The camera should display USB Mode on the camera screen and your PC should now have a new Removable Drive. When u r finished, make sure you use the Safely Remove Hardware utility (the icon should be in your system tray) to remove the new Removable Drive before disconnecting the camera. |
