From: julian | posted: 14.10.2004 20:30 I have had a Traveler 5.25 mega pixel Camera for about 2 months bought at Aldi for about £180.My main camera is a Nikon F5 which I use with a very exotic £1500 ultra wide Nikkor zoom.I was recently showing my employer some advertising photos for their cosmetic range which for convenienceI had duplicated on the traveler, and they preferred the Traveler versions! the images were superb, with natural colours and great resolution. However now both Li-Ion batteries have packed up,one only lasting two hours, and no one can find replacements .The battery code is BYD LP063450AR |

From: Ved | posted: 02.11.2004 18:11 at all aldi shops you should be able to return product if you are not happy with it. so use your chances and get something cheap, but chek battery usage and if it is rechargible look at battery life in prospect couse those ones are not easy to buy on market so they are practicly not replacible with new ones |

From: Kathi | posted: 09.11.2004 00:58 We bought the 6.1 camera this afternoon, Took several pics with it inside and they came out really well... Printed them off and they looked great. ITs really to early to tell, but so far so good. The quality is excellant. There is a one yr warranty on the camera, and it only requires you to have original reciept. Will update after the weeks up and we have a chance to see how it does ouside and again inside. IT had the disk, and everything you need to load the pics on PC, 2 batteries, car charger, case and all. LOTS of agoodies for the price. |

From: Jane Beecher | posted: 09.11.2004 19:28 My Aldi in Central Pa has a Traveler 6.31 for $249. It sounded good until I read the reviews in this form. I think I'll stick with my clunky old Sony Mavica which uses a floppy disk, and takes quite decent pictures. |

From: TomA | posted: 14.11.2004 13:48 I have a Traveller DC4000 4m pixel camera and am having trouble downloading the pictures as the instruction manual gives hardly any detail on this part of the operation. I have loaded the software but it doesn't recognise the camera. Apart from connecting the cable(s) is there a particular setting that should be applied to the camera? |

From: andrew | posted: 18.11.2004 11:20 The camera acts as an additional hard drive, if you look in My Computer with the camera attached, you should see an E, F or G Drive, depending on how many current drive letters are used |
