Now they offer a 5 megapixel camera (Traveler). But it has no optical zoom, only digital zoom. What do they mean by this? Is it real zoom? Because my own camera has that, but there it is no real zoom; it only enlarge the picture 3 times! And is it really 5 megapixels or is that only by software?

Now aldi has an offer on DC-5080 does any one has this Camera, Can the camera owner please respond , As i intend to buy one tomorrow which is the offer day in Galway Aldi. Price look good for the 5Mp camera , but there is no mention of the Optical Zoom . I checked this brand over the Internet i can not find the details of this camera.

Ive bought one also today, it has x4 digital zoom.

Need to buy a memory card though what size would you recommend. It has breakdown of sizes for pictures in realtion to the card size in the manual but no breakdown for the movie capture ie. how much time can you record with say a 256mb card, any ideas (the quality is 320x240 resolution) need to know so that i have enough memory for pics and video. thanks

I have a traveler from aldi and it worked well, now it fell to the floor and the objective does not go in, when I turn it on it shows "failure no. 3" ; I lost the description, can anyone tell me what this could mean and what I should do to repair it?

hi~ i just bought a traveler DC3300 off of ebay, but it came with no instructions as the seller said that they were easy to find on the net. i've been through all of the posts and gone onto the english version of the traveler website but they do not have manuals for this make, only three of their other cameras. i've also been onto the vitrar site but i don't know if they have a make of camera that is the same as the DC3300. could someone please help me out as i'm totally lost with this camera xD all i'm able to do is take videos, but i'm sure i should be able to take photos too .. right?

In Holland the Traveler Slimline X6 (6.2 megapixels) comes out next week (19 April) priced at €199 with a 512MB SD card, 2 batteries, charger, car kit, docking station cables and case, plus a "spare" 1 gig memory card for €49.99 - I am buying both :)

I had never heard of Aldi traveler until i downloaded pictures onto my computer from German friends camera i was so impressed especially with the night pics that i must get one. My expensive camera cannot take as good pics. I am trying to find one now... Hopefully australia has them Good luck
