From: dan | posted: 01.01.2004 21:10 Im just leaving a message to say that i recently got a traveler dc 5300 for christmas and am amzed with the quality of the camera, it is so cheap for the quality because it is a german camera , i think that this is stupid as the camera is excellent. I was also wondering if any one knows where i could get a spare lithium battery for the dc 5300? And how do i view the short video clips on my computer? |

From: joe | posted: 04.01.2004 22:00 this camera is also known as a "toshiba pdr 5300", and a "centron dc 5 " which is sold by jessops photographic outlets...so in theory the batteries and stuff should be compatible...youre better off nipping into your local jessops and asking just to be on the safe side...hope this helps |

From: joe | posted: 04.01.2004 22:09 i too had this problem , but it depends what setting you have youre dial on ..if you have it on "A" the camera desides if the flash is needed if however you put it on "P" you can override it and have the flash on all the time..although you do have to wait for the flash to recharge first...hope this helps |

From: joe | posted: 04.01.2004 22:15 you may be able to get one from jessops...they sell a camera called a "centron dc5" apparently its the same as the traveler dc5300 ( rebadged)..best thing is take your camera in and try one |
