As a workround this particular problem, you might like to try a card reader (USB). I bought one from Aldi and it is excellent. Was only £10 and they may have some left.
Regarding contacting manufacturers, I believe there is an 0800 number either in the manual or on the website

Can anyone help explain why my computer crashes as soon as I switch on the camera! Its a traveler DC 3000 with the photosuite SE software.The camera is fine but I can't download anything despite reloading the driver.

i have the same problem when using the flash on automatic, very dull pictures. i manage to correct them using a photo editor, but this is not very satisfactory. i will probabley take the camera back to aldiand get my money back.

dont be too hasty taking camera back.... play around with it i find if you set it to "P" for your personal setting then enable the flash its 100% better.. give it a try and let me know

My mate bought a new Canon at over 500 quid . When he saw the results from my 199£ Traveler 5.25 megapix from Aldi he took it back arguing it was faulty. He got away with it too. He then rushed out and bought 2 traveler-one for him one for his missus as she travels a lot with her job. All 3 of us have had perfectly working cameras and software from day1 and no probs with battery life as some people seem to have experienced. Fantastic results fantastic price. Hard to fault it.

some of you who have purchased a traveler dc-5300 are having problems seeing the removeable disk even though they have loaded the driver correctly. This seems only to be a problem with windows 98/98se.The removeable disk icon works ok with windows EP.
You can overcome this problem by using a card reader. I am very impressed with my dc-5300 it was good value for the price

Love the camera. Only had it 2 weeks and have taken some great pictures. I also have a Medion Computer and the pictures download fast. The only problem I have at the moment is that the camera seems to be making a squeeky noise. Could anyone tell me if they have had this. Also, has anyone had a problem with the LCD i.e. flickering in view mode?
