From: Roy | posted: 11.03.2004 15:24 Amanda, DC-5300 Re LCD screen I to had problems with the screen, multi colours, in the form of a jigsaw. Used the free phone to Germany, very helpful they suggested either return to them, or try my local Aldi. Took it back to Aldi who changed the camera without problem. from Roy |

From: Lo | posted: 18.03.2004 22:07 Get a card reader. Much quicker transfer of images from memory card to hard drive and no problems with recognition! Wonderful! I also need to know where to get a battery for dc5300!!! |

From: Alex | posted: 27.03.2004 18:10 there are plenty of NiMh 2300 m/Ahr batteries on Ebay these have much higher capacity than Alkaline Batteries. They are rechargeable up to 1000 times and do not have a memory effect like NiCads, and can therefore be topped up with a charge at any time just go to Ebay in outlook expres and type in " NiMh batteries " |
