The XP patch for BLC works with originla cd as well as a backup cd. But it won't work wihtout cd.

But Are u sure the patch works with the BackUP CD...I made a backup CD of BLC..the original CD got Lost by my friend...so I tried accessing the game thru the backup CD...but it would not start...I have Windows XP @ home...Please tell me what to do..am missing out on that game..

Use Daemon Tools, launch it after installation, it's icon will appear in the system tray, right click and in the options, enable or put a check mark besides 'Securom'.

If the backup copy is a good one, the game should run.

I just bought the game... I have ALWAYS wanted to know how to play... thought this would be a great way. I run XP though. Nice to have a XP crack, BUT... the link for instructions goes nowhere. Advice?
